Advice for Keeping Safe

  • Windows
When you are leaving your property, please lock windows & remove the keys.
Keep ground floor and first floor windows locked at night during the summer months.
  • Visitors
If you are not expecting a visitor, use the spy hole / video entry phone system to confirm the individuals are known to you. Use the chain on your door. Ask for ID if necessary.
  • Bicycles
Please use a strong 'D' shape lock. Mark your bike with your postcode in ultraviolet pen or attend police bike marking sessions. Remove the front wheel and store inside your home. There are secure bike lockers in each block ( contact estate management for further access information).
Ensure your bike is covered on your home contents insurance.
  • Cars
Do not leave your car keys within 1 metre of your front door. Thieves can reach through letterboxes with extendable rods, hook keys & steal cars.
Do not leave any valuable items on display such as sat navs, mobile phones, laptops, wallets, handbags etc.
  • Suspicious Behaviour
If you suspect any suspicious behaviour, please call the Police first & then the concierge desk. The Concierges are just concierges - they are not security guards.

Please note that Kew Riverside in NOT a secure or gated developement. There is pedestrian public right of way access through the development to the Thames towpath.

In the event of an emergency always dial 999
For all other calls to the Metropolitan Police Service please dial 101.
