Residents Parking

Under the terms of the lease for apartments & transfer documents for houses – parking is not permitted on the roads at Kew Riverside (link to convenants). This is something that residents need to give thought to prior to moving here.

The speed limit for motor vehicles on the development is 10mph.

These roads are patrolled by MET Parking wardens who issue parking fines. A notification is put on the windscreen & the formal fine is sent to the address at which the vehicle is registered with DVLA. Visitors / contractors must stop at the Apex Centre upon entering the estate to obtain parking terms.

Houses:

  • Those with garages are required to park on their cobbles. Cars parked outside these areas on the road will receive a parking fine.
  • Those with single garages - please park on your drive.
  • If a house resident finds someone parked on their cobbles - please call the parking manangement company who will speak to the parking warden to issue a ticket. (Neighbours are requested to resolve parking disputes directly with each other.)

Flats:

  • All private flats have allocated parking spaces.
  • Some flats may have an additional space.
  • All spaces are allocated to properties - there are no spare or visitor spaces underground.
  • If a resident finds someone in their space - please call the Apex Centre who will issue a notice to remove. (Neighbours are requested to resolve parking disputes directly with each other.) The illegal parked vehicle can be issued with a parking notice.
  • Please advise Estate Office if bays are being rented to other residents.

Visitors / Guests:

  • There are 5 visitor spaces (by Magenta House) – these operate on a first come first served basis – any visitor* wishing to use these visitor spaces should stop at the Apex Centre & collect a parking permit. You will be asked which property you are visiting & your details logged. Visitors parking permits are for 24 hrs only, additional time - you must visit concierge to issue further permit.
  • Once these 5 visitor spaces are full each day – all other visitors are required to make off site parking arrangements.
  • Residents should inform visitors of this in advance.

* These are for visitors only – not for residents with more cars than spaces.

Disabled Visitors:

  • Disabled visitors must clearly display a valid disabled badge with a valid permit if they wish to park on the road. Please ensure both are clearly visable or you may be liable to receive a parking fine.

Contractors:

  • Contractors working in vehicles with company logos (such as BT van & British Gas van etc…) also need to collect a parking permit.
  • Contractors working in vehicles without company logos will need to stop at the Apex Centre & collect a contractor permit. You will be asked which property you are working in & we do request that these vehicles are parked sensibly.
  • Residents should inform contractors of this in advance.

Estate Agents:

  • Estate agents, letting agents, managing agents, potential purchasers, potential tenants etc… please stop at the Apex Centre upon entering the estate to request a contractor permit. You will be asked which property you are visiting & we do request that these vehicles are parked sensibly.
  • Property owners should inform estate agents of this in advance.

Medical:

  • Midwives, doctors, physiotherapists, district nurses etc… please stop at the Apex Centre upon entering the estate to request a contractor permit. You will be asked which property you are visiting & we do request that these vehicles are parked sensibly.
  • Residents should inform such visitors of this in advance.

Concierges / The Apex Centre

  • The Concierges do not work for MET Parking & are not the ones issuing parking fines.
  • The Concierges cannot cancel a parking fine for you.
  • Bullying or begging for permits from the Concierges is unfair & unwelcome – the Apex Centre is monitored by CCTV for their safety.

Removal Trucks

  • Removal trucks/vans – please collect a permit from the Apex Centre .
  • Please do not park on or drive on the pavements – this will crack the paving slabs.
  • If you need access to Acqua House, Terrano House, Greenlink Walk or riverside mews houses – please ask the Concierges/Caretaker to unlock the bollards for you.
  • Removal trucks are not permitted to remain on the estate overnight.
  • No vehicle over 15 tonnes will be permitted on site (2 Axles/8 wheels).
